So, I cheated a little. I changed the numbers in the link for downloading v0.63, and it worked. I downloaded and installed v0.58, and the ambient sound is back. Install at your own risk, but worked for me.

I would appreciate it if someone tested the other subjective differences between the firmware versions. I may do so soon, but perhaps someone else is interested.

Considering that the effect of ambient sound is not very satisfactory, it is temporarily disabled. It is still in your FAQ. And it is in our printed quick guides that we received with the devices. So I would say that it has been advertised.

Imagine every customer receiving a printed brochure where this function is mentioned with instructions on how to use it, and then the function is no longer available. It works fine (maybe not perfectly), but it has been removed. I don’t see the logic here, sorry.

Personally, I do not see any significant improvements in 0.63 fw
The 0.58 fw has the comparable play time with my old UTWS5 v2. The "LDAC connection judgment" sounds not so important too.

Again, thank you. I appreciate it.

Let me put it this way. I have some sound interference in my recorded sound messages (I reported it to support), but don't have it when using ambient sound (I'm not talking about recording in this case). Ambient sound works remarkably well on pause (which is the only way I use it, so it is a splendid function for me).

So, if your team needs to turn off ambient mode completely to eliminate sound interference in voice messages, that is okay. I will live with it. But if these are separate issues, then it would be great to solve one without affecting the other.
