Could you guys make the fixed volume output for using usb-c out to DAC?
Eveytime when I connect to the dac, it take time for me to turn the volume at max :frowning2:

How do I have a hard reset?
Holding the turn off button for 20 seconds sometimes does not help.

What do you call this?

https://www.head-fi.org/threads/fii...fi-two-way-ldac.902622/page-132#post-14991459

A headphone isine20 with Cypher cable and Anker adapter to usbc connection gets music from the dap.

And does the M5 support it.

I figured out it is called "usb transport." And since the M5 has the coaxial output, the usb transport is not implemented. The M11 seems to support usb transport. Usb transport draws power from the dap so it could be a strategic decision to avoid customer complaints about battery life. But the M0 does usb transport and not the coaxial out. You kind of wonder in this social networking world people are talking to take the easy way out and be comfortable; this used to be called anti competitive practices, now it is called business as usual at the US justice department division of so on and so forth.

Just purchased the m5. Can you please advise on Bluetooth compatibility? Player works well with Jaybird Tarah Pro and Pamu slide, but seems to be incompatible with the Jaybird Vista. There seems to be difficulty I. Connecting and if it does manage to connect sound only seems to come from 1 side. Jaybird Vista works very well with the FiiO M6 and all of my other Bluetooth compatible devices. Bluetooth on the M5 is 1.1.1
Can you please advise
Thanks

Dear friend,

Try a factory restore in system settings?

Best regards

I will. Any other ways to do the hard reset rather than holding turn on/off button for some time?

Hi! Can this player pair with bt earphones that have separate bt modules for each ear (Creative Outlier Gold and other TWS)? The Headphones (Creative Outlier Gold) are informing me that they cannot complete the pairing with the device. But this issue has never occurred with other devices (smartphones or players)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just taken delivery of a new M5 and have spent the last couple of hours playing about with it. Most of the functionality I require seems there-albeit the tag support is pretty limited-but one thing that I can't figure out at the moment is how to get the album names to scroll. I loaded a bunch of 'Now That's What I Call Music' albums and all I can see is multiple 'Now That's What I C' albums with no way of differentiating them!
Firmware is 1.2.1, music was FLAC although the same occurred with mp3.
Hope you can help as otherwise it's going back :frowning2:
