@Micha111 - Can u help me test the Bluetooth of m15s. Can u play a youtube video from your phone/tablet and set the m15s to receive via LDAC format and see if the lips sync matches or are there any delay? - like the lips is faster than the voice. PLay some news CNN or BBC and its easier to tell that way. So far, all other similar DAP DX240, M7 does not have the QCC5124 Bluetooth chipset and they all have a serious delay in catching up with the speech. - I appreciate it very much.

Will test it by time.
Edit: in USB Power Mode with deactivated charging, all five gain settings are available.
Edit2: after loading it to 100%, finished yesterday at 23:30h, the device has lost 4% till 07:30h in standby. The M11+ has lost 1% only or even 0% over 8 hours standby... This would result in a very poor standby time for the M15s.
@FiiO
Found a bug, i think. I set the multifunctional button to play/pause and when the display is inactive, it isn't working properly. Sometimes it works, then it seems that it make a double klick by itself play/pause and the track will not stop or play. Sometimes as pause it works but it will not resume again.
While the display is activated its always working properly.

Hi, all gain stages are available when you use USB power supply.@Micha111
When the M15S is connected to USB power, the battery is bypassed, similar to DC mode on the M17. Are all gain stages still available under USB power supply or only ultra high gain?
How is the heat development under USB power supply. Is it getting much warmer?
M11S users often complain that the first few seconds of the song are cut off. Did you notice that with the M15S too?
Thanks very much!

Fair enough.c
It took us more than 2 years in M15S, btw, we maybe the biggest Chinese company in this field and own more than 100 engineers , and most Chines hifi brands just have very few staff, and most of them, the boss also the chief engineer.
So far this ticks a few boxes: DC mode for battery preservation (battery is the first component that usually fails on any mobile device), pure player mode and relatively new android.
I assume you can already see the pattern here, I focus on longevity. I'm open to suggestions and recommendations. Looking forward to read some reviews about the m15s.
Cheers.
Dear friend,@FiiO
Can you confirm if a screen protector is pre-installed or not. It would be an odd austerity measure if there wasn't one.
The screen protector is not pre-installed in the screen of the M15S.
The M15S is using 2.5D curved glass. However, the number of display screens for M15S is relatively small so customize the curved tempered film for it is not quite feasible. As for the normal tempered film which affects the visual effect a lot, is given up as well.
Actually, the glass of M15S is supplied by BOE (BOE). It will not be damaged easily during normal usage.
Best regards

It’s a bad thing if it comes with the same old DAC, AMP, features etc. and just a different name. You say that like it's a bad thing
This DAP would have been more interesting if it had the newer ES9039MPRO DAC instead of the age old 9038PRO.

1. Yes, Apple music app is supported in M15S.
2. The M15S uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. The project supplier provided Android 9 and Android 10 for us based in Snapdragon 660 platform. And we have chosen the latest Android version provided by the supplier for M15S. If the project supplier could provide the new Android support in the 660 platform in the future, we will try to update it for the M15S as well.
Best regards

I don't understand why this new device comes with the Android 10 out of the box. I get the 660 platform argument, but this still a 7 years old processor which I doubt any supplier will spend time developing a new SO version for it once we are almost in the 14th version with other new platforms coming out.
For the ones looking for the streaming capabilities this could be issue, the applications have a very narrow time-frame for development and support, to keep all versions ongoing at the same label of functionality.
I was looking for the M15s as an alternative to the new Sony's, but it lacks a more recent SO version, at least for the Android Mode support and all streaming apps.
