It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it makes me think of the amount of research and dedication to put into it(Not to mention longevity of their products). I've had a couple of Dac/Amps from FiiO and my intention is not to talk ill of the brand, but most of the time I tend to look for products coming from brands that take a bit more time to investigate and evaluate all chances of improvement.

That being said, I could definitely get this DAP if it fits my needs.

The M15S comes with a cooling stand. Does it have the same heat problem as the M17? My M17 gets pretty warm after 60 minutes without a fan, even with IEM, low gain, WIFI off, screen off. That's why I only use it with the fan in the stand so that there is no heat problem.

Hi, M15S has done sufficient heat dissipation. From our laboratory data, in the case of 40mv output, the temperature of the M15S machine will only rise by 9°C after playing continuously for one hour.

That's good data. So the M15S would be a mobile complement to the M17.

@FiiO looking at the specs the DAP looks very promising... what other companies DAP would you say you targeted as to the competition on the M15s...
