At present, the Apple music app can be installed in M15. But you could not sign in your account in Apple music app. This problem is a problem of the 7872 platform itself which need to be solved by Samsung.

So Apple Music doesn't work on any 7872 device? I'm very surprised Apple wouldn't try to fix that issue if they were aware. Have you tried asking for support?

Yes, we have reported to Samsung about that but they haven't provided solution to us still.

Got my M15 last week and I've been really enjoying it since (with my AKG K240 and K702 headphones).

Grabbed the correct case on Amazon and love the design and better feel of the buttons in the case.

Only negative so far, which isn't really FiiO's fault, is that the M15 doesn't work with my car's USB port. I have to use the Bluetooth which then messes with my phone connection. Oh well, better than nothing. Next I have to figure out some of the more advanced features like the wifi server/client setup.

If your car stereo can read files off a thumb drive, then your M15 has to be in mass storage mode in order for the car stereo to "see" the files. Not sure if both internal and SD cards will work though.

1. Added VU meters(When you choose default now playing page theme,you could enter the now playing page then tap the cover area to switch to the UV meter);
2. Added an option to display the album art in original size or by full screen under Spectrum display mode;
3. Added ID3 tag support for DFF tracks;
4. Added dark theme adaptation of the media control bar;
5. Fixed the issue where the album art of some tracks could not be loaded;
6. Fixed the issue where creating new folders would fail when transferring tracks to the SD card using WiFi Song Transfer;
7. Fixed the issue where a few tracks might not be played properly;
8. Improved the Home screen widget;
9. Improved the stability of FiiO Link;
10. Improved the USB Audio compatibility with some USB DACs (such as iFi);
11. Miscellaneous improvements.

Set the device to storage mode and connect to computer, drag the downloaded FiiO Music (.apk) to the device. Then disconnect the connection and enter ES file explorer/file manager, find the FiiO Music app in internal storage/sd card and click install.

Dear friend,

The M15 will take too much power from the iPhone when connected to an Apple phone, and the iPhone has always been strict with external devices, and will prevent third-party devices from charging in order to protect the battery. So connecting via USB could not work. You could consider the connection via Airplay or Bluetooth instead.

When I set the M15 into storage mode, it gives me internal shared storage, but doesn't let me copy the .apk file
Can you explain the procedure better?

I’ve heard some people say that the m15 sounds better after a little while from burn in? I also bought a Verite Cable which I feel as it does make and audible difference from my Hart Audio Cable.

Yes. One more secret. It sounds even better if you overheat it for few hours (there is a warning pop up saying battery is overheat and charging stop). I have tried few times and it does sound less harsh and smoother after each time overheat. And the change is permanent. And this cannot be substituted by longer burn in time.

Your better off downloadig the APK file and then loading that into your micro SD card. Throw the card back into your M15, go into ES file explorer after boot up and you will see the APK file on your ES menu toward the bottom. Just install that from there and your golden. It is much easier imo.

Excuse my ignorance here...I'm looking for a cable to hook up my M15 to my AVR. Of course I can use a simple 3.5mm to RCA but I see 4.4mm "balanced" adapters to RCA, with warnings about keeping the negative poles separated. Would an AVR with standard RCA connectors have those separate and/or does it make any sense to run "balanced" out of the M15 into the AVR?

Thus far, I have not utilized the "balanced" output of my M15...so really just looking for an excuse to do so!

If you are using the M15, you could connect it to Wifi and you would receive the OTA update notice soon. And if you what to read the storage of the M15 in the computer, you would need to install the MTP driver first. This thing called m15 doesn't stand a chance against astell and Kern ak380 let alone the sp1000 or sp2000.It just sounds like a refind average mobile phone.

To each their own opinion. But please do not forget you are comparing the M15 with devices that are A) way more expensive (double!!) and B) run with an ESS chipset. I have had the 380 and SR25 and I personally prefer the AKM chipsets to the ESS chipsets. The M15 for me fits my purpose, sounds the way I prefer a device to sound and fits my budget.. So I am quite happy with it

The M15 probably better than both of them,measure really well of all Daps tested and probably the better value.
