You might also say that you prefer the M11. :wink: There are a lot of factors that determine if someone likes a piece of gear or not. Personally I think the M11 is good value because it has a lot to offer, but the sound quality is not its main strength. It sounds good at its price point, but has a hint of brightness and sounds quite "digital" to my ears. Of course I listen to a lot of classical music, so I have specific demands, and my preference for a more natural sound plays a role here as well.

Began selling Fiio M11Pro on AliExpress official store Fiio. The price of the device is 679.99$

I didn't like M11, I spent a week A/Bing M11 (borrowed from my friend) and X7II with stock AMP/AM5. They both sound almost similar but X7II has this refinement over M11 and AM5 clearly pulls it ahead. And I decided to stay with X7II until M11 Pro or M15/M15Pro are released.

Maybe better but for sure not 3 times better. Cayin is 3300$, Fiio M11+Oriolus is 1000$. Cayin is **** ugly and case sucks. Fiio is cute, handy and has nice case. Besides, with external amp you can reuse it with new DAC with Cayin you are stuck and resale value will be low. The only thing Cayin is better it's one device vs stack. For 3000$ you can get M11+Oriolus+ Sony IER-Z1R and you have still 200-300$ dollar left so Cayin is bad deal unless you have money to blow.

Cayin n8 is a special dap, that`s for sure. With the vacuum tube and solid state amplification it is a unique technical basis for a dap. The design is just matter of taste. In general you can`t clear against each other in Hifi. Especially in high end audio you have to pay much money to get small improvements. With the Fiio M11 you get the much better price-performance.

I ordered one too, supply is super limited at the moment, hard to get hold of any from distributers. I have some Shanling M6 on the way too for friends so will get to check that out too with Neutron and same PEQ on both :L3000: along with the standard M11 of course.
I did that with M11, R6Pro and N6ii previously andM the M11 came out top for me.

(It takes seconds to copy all your neutron settings /peq between daps, awesome for comparing hardware like for like without thinking about music software performance)

Question to the representatives of Fiio. On Aliexpress in the official Fiio store, in the description of the M11Pro device, an image of the M11Pro device with two microSD card slots is placed. Question - is the M11 device mistakenly photographed in the photo or will the M11Pro with two slots for microSD cards be released? Some people, including myself, did not understand this. Explain what is the matter.:slight_frown:

Up for pre-order on amp3 in the uk now. Limited stock in sometime next week it seems. Code AMP312EXCL319 works at checkout to bring it down to £527 which seems reasonable enough.
