I would very much like to see leather cases for the M11Pro device on sale soon. I would not want to use the device without a protective cover.

Well, they could have included 1$ clear case like with Fiio M11, they charge 200$+ more for PRO but too stingy to include free case instead they gave people gold plated useless cringy PRO letters on side.

I don’t get it either. Apparently there were reasons. I would like to hope that in the near future Fiio will put on sale leather protective cases (I'm used to protecting my devices from damage)

Yeah, go figure, although it is strange they didn’t include a case (I thought the case on the M11 was a nice touch, as was the included screen protector). Do you have one lined up for review? Waiting patiently for some pro reviews/impressions.

Sales are also about care. Smart salesmen will want to make end-user feeled cared and comfy. Such things like 1$ protective case or screen have no influence on company costs but give user impression their comfort matters for company and they gave you free item (people love free schiit) Now people will have to wait weeks or months before leather case is delivered and will have uncomfortable experience. Instead useful case, Fiio spent this money on useless ego stroke (gold plated PRO), the only good thing about it it will be covered by case. Maybe Im too old but anything PRO sounds for me like stuff for kids, gamer crowd which needs to be validated as PROs.

It is an odd decision, but perhaps it might also have to do with feedback they received on the case. I don't know how happy people have been with it. I never used it, much preferred the M11 without.

Hahaha! Full marks for cynicism there mate! I actually liked the feel of the M11 without a case and felt confident about the build quality to use it without. But I agree, people would probably appreciate the gesture... and the flashy "pro" markings.
