Only dropped once since 2007 and thats cause I used a case for a week. Used the case of the Cayin N8 $3500 USD and the N8 slide out and fell on the concrete sidewalk. Im in HK do keys in back pack , change stays home or in back pack.
Wow, i heard someone dropped their N8 and the tubes shattered...

Mine hit the concrete and slid 12 feet. Still perfect.

The M11 Pro has no screen protector on the front? That’s inexcusable. The M11 has one. I’m quite sure the Pro has one too if you look closely. If not I’d put one on before doing anything else with it.

of course it has a screen protector which is pre-installed

Yes, I really do. I have new cl2 and new PW cable, so they all need to burn in, but the sound is settling down and it's awesome. Sometimes if its not a great recording, or even if it is, the mids and vocals can be a 'little' forward, but I switched tips from the CL2 stock to the peeled Mandarines, and the mids are now controlled and smooth and perfect. It's just as good as the 1000M, perhaps a bit better, even.
Thanks, I have one more question... Do you have any sensitive iem to check for hissing? Someone said the M11 had quite a hissing with sensitive iems... I'm looking forward to buy the M11 Pro and the FH7!

Drop it? Put it in your pocket and not realise your keys are there? Holding it and walking and accidently bang it? Ton of ways. i was holding my 1000M in my hand at my desk in work, and i stretched and banged it against the hand gel dispenser hanging on the wall behind me...
I mean, what's a scratch or two, my iPod touch still works flawlessly :D

Actually everything about this device seems perfect. Sound quality impressions are very good, the UI is fast and all outputs are supported. Only thing turned me back from purchasing it is the upcoming M15 in December.

I suspect the M15 won’t be priced much higher than the M11 Pro. With the HiBy R6 Pro Aluminium launching for $549 on pre-sale, even the M11 Pro finds itself on the wrong side of the value equation, if you ask me. I don’t think it’ll be long before you see the M11 Pro retailing or sold mint for less than $600 and $500 respectively.

Hey I used the fiio m11 pro with the westone w80 and I heard no hiss or static at all. Although I did return the fiio back due to bad battery life but I suspect it was because the westone was sucking the battery dry.
