How is Apple Music working on this? I have heard it is getting crashed and troublesome streaming in this DAP. Is this the case with all/majority?
I'm having issues with Apple Music on the M11 Plus. I'm using the latest firmware (1.0.2) and version 3.6.0 of Apple Music. After playing a track, it switches to the next one, which appears to be playing but has no sound output. Pressing next or previous allows the song to play properly, but the issue quickly comes back on the next track. I've now been able to reproduce the issue consistently, and it appears that it has to do with sample rate switching with crossfade on.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Play hi-res/lossless track (96kHz or 48kHz) and allow song to switch to next track
  2. Next song starts to play and has different sample rate (44.1kHz, for example), no sound output
I've tried both starting with 44.1kHz and switching to 96kHz, and starting with 96kHz/48kHz switching to 44.1kHz and the problem still exists. I've also tried with 24/44.1 to 16/44.1 and the issue exists. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and thought it had fixed the issue, since I was able to listen to an entire album (it now seems it played correctly because of the consistent sample rate). However, I realized the problem was still there as the album finished and switched to a different song that had no output. With hi-res lossless enabled, I noticed that after switching to the next track the M11 Plus no longer shows the sample rate in the status bar at the top. The sample rate displayed correctly with lossless enabled, but still no sound output. The issue seems to go away if crossfade is disabled.

Please disable crossfade. Everything will be back to normal

Thanks for the suggestion. This seems to resolve the sample rate switching issue, however, I've encountered another problem. Opening some webpages while songs are playing causes the audio to drop out as well, with the same behavior, i.e. the track appears to be playing, however there is no sound. It's not all songs and not all webpages, but it's also reproducible and not specific to Apple Music. It occurs with Apple Music on all quality settings, and in Tidal on the highest quality setting only.

Just leave crossfade off

I have a bit of a technical question: when using the M11 plus as a Bluetooth receiver, will the AK DAC still do the decoding and the THX amps still do the amplification? Or is it send directly from the BT chip to the headphone out?

Perhaps @FiiO can help me out? :)

cheers!

Hi, the sound will be decoded and amplified through the whole internal circuit.

I received my m11 plus ltd a couple of days ago and it sounds amazing but I'm experiencing an issue with the touch screen and I'm wondering if anyone else has. After about 1-2 hours of constant use (Qobuz, Apple Music, etc.) the touch response begins to deteriorate/lag until taps and swipes don't register and I have to double or triple tap/swipe until it suddenly registers. Often this causes unintended actions.

When this happens I do a shutdown and power it back on later and touch response is back to normal. I'm wondering if it's overheating or compute resources are getting low. The audio stream doesn't seem to be affected, no pauses or drop outs or anything like that.

Hi, of course, the DAC and THX amps will always work no matter what mode do you use (except USB Audio output)

Hi, have you turn on All to DSD function?
Could you send the log for us when the problem happened to support@fiio.com so that we can check what happened.
