Recommendations for the best audiobook m4b player for the M11 ?

I use smart audiobook player, works well.

I've just updated the FW to 1.1.1 rescanned my music /folders, but I can no longer get any music to play through my desktop DAC/Amp. All I get is glitchy noise!!

The settings I have are:
Output selection; SPFIF
SPDIF out: DoP
USB mode: tried both storage and USB DAC

Nothing seems to work!!

Can anyone help out please, thanks.

Managed to get the M11 to play music, but had to set "USB Output" in Fiio player settings to "Off" which allowed music to be played via my DAC/Amp. However, no DSD files can be played, there is just silence.

You are connecting the M11 to the DAC via USB or coaxial? And please inform us the name of your DAC.

Please send the log files to us for check as well: The logs files can be grabed from firmware 1.0.4 or above. So when the certain problem happens on the M11, please go to " Settings ->About device" , and continually tap“Model number", until the prompt "Have save output log to built-in storage" appears. Then please wait for about 20 seconds, and go to M11's internal storage, then send these two log files "M11-kernel-xx.log" and "M11-system-xx.log" to us for further analysis.

Can the Fiio M11 play MQA in offline mode? I can only play MQA in UAPP via Tidal in online mode. Also sometime during streaming masters on Tidal app, the MQA icon doesnt show up on the status bar above.

Hello friend, in what format do you recommend having the micro sd memory in the Fiio M11 ????? Exfat or Fat 32 ????? The one I have is 400 Gb Cheers

All my cards sandisk 1TB, 400Gb, 512Gb, 128Gb and Samsung 512gb& 256Gb are working fine with ExtFat.. as it's difficult to format in Fat32 with Windows 10, I wouldn't recommend Fat32. I have never really seen on a long time period things working better or faster with fat32 than extfat with large micro SD (256Gb and more).

Don't format with FAT! exFAT is perfect for SD cards. FAT used just in case of compatibility mode, but M11 and latest Windows versions support exFAT very well (1 TB Sandisk).

Yes it can, I play mine all the time.

Hi @FiiO there is issue on my M11 where the balance output keep showing connected even just reboot, playback on both 4.4/2.5 normal, just can't play through 3.5 now

tried reset whole system, wipe cache. But nothing help, any advice ?

Dear friend,

You could try to clean the balanced headphone jack or reinsert the balanced headphone for a few time to check again.

If the issue still remains, it may be a hardware issue with the balanced headphone jack.

I had a similar problem, it's a few pages earlier. Nothing helped me, I had to send for service. The error for me was in the 2.5 mm output. After the exchange, everything is fine.

Thanks iceman for sharing the case, mine is lucky, as support suggest cleaning does work.
but not to clean the contact surface, rather need to pump quite some contact cleaner to base of 4.4mm socket
so the sensor bounce back when unplug which believe jammed somehow.

I've been trying to restore offline content to my M11 but it never works completely. It will restore some but not all, and it's never the same amount missing. I've not had this problem with thr Tidal app on my phone. Has anyone else had this problem?

I had this problem using Tidal on my M11. Its interesting that you didnt have this with your phone. I only have Tidal on my M11 so cant comment, maybe the problem is with the M11 ?. All my content would disappear and I would have to restore it. I did notice that Playlists would not be affected. It happened regularly enough for me not to use the Tidal app for playback. I ended up using Audfree to download to my SD card and now use Poweramp. This isnt ideal, as i would rather use the Tidal app, but having to restore the offline content would take ages. I have not found a solution, if you do let me know.
