How common is this issue- ghosting on my fiio m11 pro screen, rectangular shape in the middle of screen? (Bad photo below but you can see it - it can be much more visible depending on brightness and color) I had it since day one 4E695E29-170B-4741-8560-21A267C0D354.jpeg

Hey Emilsoft,

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I just got a FiiO M11 Pro today (brand NEW) and have noticed the exact same problem. I'm running a "Screen Burn In Fix" app that basically just flashes a bunch of colors over and over again. Then I'll let it mellow overnight and see if that helps. Would love to know what happened in your case!

Thanks,
Preston

Is the M11 enough to get everything out of sennheiser hd650? Or would it need an amp?

I don't know about "everything". It does have a recommended headphone impedance of 16 to 300 ohms. I ran my Drop x Sennheiser HD6XXs on the M11 Pro and the BTR5 (which is significantly smaller) with no problem. The HD6XXs are basically the younger, revamped (and cheaper) cousin of the HD650s and have all the same specs. Personally, I thought both the M11 and BTR5 did a fine job at driving them. They got loud enough on the BTR5 with minimal headroom, but the M11 could drive them to deafening levels no problem. You would need a 2.5mm balanced cable to do it though. Others on this website would tell you though that the HD650s really benefit from higher end and more powerful DACs and amps. I can't really say that's true or not though, never tried it. To clearly answer your questions... The M11 will power your HD650s well-enough and produce a good, detailed sound with plenty of volume. BUT, having a dedicated amplifier with it will, presumably, bring out even more detail. Do I think its worth it? No - I thought my M11 (and even the BTR5) did a great job and I'm content with it.

No, I used the link post here

Added the ZIP to the root directory and started it locally.
M11 wen't immediately to a reboot and installed it.

Some screenshots here

The Fiio App does show me different sample rates on the app display and the status bar.
I think, FiiO will fix that soon ...

@FiiO - just a heads up on the latest beta firmware that MQA playback is not gapless on the M11 - listening to The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper - the first track should flow into the 2nd seamlessly, and it doesn't - an audible skip occurs. Same with the transition from track 1 to track 2 of Stevie Wonder's "Songs In The Key Of Life".

Gapless function is disabled when MQA function is turned on.

Best regards
