The app will handle the audio format - it has nothing to do with the M11. As long as the M11 runs the app you’ll hear the audio through the app.

I was looking at the X5 forum; a post there from 2017 said the Audible app was not compatible. It would install but not play. I'll just have to wait and see. It is not a deal-breaker for me, but it would be nice to do all of my listening on one player without mucking about with the Airplay functionality. It works well enough on the M9, but it adds a few extra steps.

I thought the 2.5 and 4.4 are connected to the exact same amp section. So I don't think the 4.4 is getting any more power so I don't see how it would be really any different from the 2.5 jack. But I could be wrong.

I'm also interested about this issue. Fiio, could you please clarify?

It is actually shown on the specs page on FiiOs website that the specs are the same for 2.5 and 4.4. So unless there is an advantage to the extra contact area of the 4.4 then the output should be exactly the same between 2.5 and 4.4

I have had the m11 for not even 24hours and it fell 2ft and hit the ground... it was in its case and it hit the corner and went completely through the case and dented it. Damn damn damn damnit! So frustrated. I wish there was a leather case. This toy thing is very thin. Good for preventing scratches but be careful!!! It won’t protect the m11 from damage... at least in my experience I had about an hour ago. :/

Very sorry , since we have not ship any M11 to our agents in Euro or other counties so it is impossible to get a replacement from our agents in Euro, btw, can you confirm the cable is original from Sony . we have confirmed with quite some people that there will not have any problem to connect to Z1R .

Interesting conversations here regarding the M11. For its price, the M11 is pretty hard to beat and kudos to Fiio if they continue to support this platform with future firmware updates down the line.

My wish list for the Fiio M11 is for the player to support roon in the future. Is this even possible?
