Thanks for the help. It was an address issue coupled with a format issue, used .m3u8 in the end.

For tracks spanning multiple SD cards I will have to edit the sd card number on each track in the playlist, that can be done another day. Too hot.

Time to enjoy the player.

Shame you have to go hunting for the folder instead of just going to the playlist section in FiiO.
Supposed to be able to put them here and import but it still just says import successful and no playlist shows.

Obviously the playlists work and in the right format because they work on the individual drives no matter where you put them, but they don't show in the app under Playlists.

Exactly how is the M11 ‘flawed’? Because it doesn’t have THX? Have you heard a THX amp before? By that logic every dap without THX is flawed. If the M11 PRO was also $450 then yes, that would be stupid marketing. But it’s not, and THX is more a different ‘flavour’ than next-gen amplification. The cost increase is likely from the added 32GB ROM, not the THX amps.

The M11's biggest flaw is its lack of Google Play support. It's a pretty massive flaw that really hampers it from being an all purpose android media player. I don't especially care if Fiio releases an M11 Pro or a M15 in the same year as the M11. I'll only be pissed about it if the M11 Pro/M15 have Google Play support, yet the M11 is not updated to include it.

Today’s minor gripe, wish the gapless playback worked as well as my old iPod , I get a slight stutter between my ALAC tracks on Floyd’s DSOTM and The Endless River.

AFAIK Sony and Apple are really the only companies who nail perfect gapless on lossy files. FiiO's players in the past have had issues with this, so this doesn't come as a surprise to me.

AFAIK, both the M11 PRO and M15 will have the same platform, OS and 'restrictions' at the M11. If any of the new ones get Play Support somehow, so will the M11.

For the tenth time, there will be NO Google support with m11, m11 pro, and m15. They all share the same chip which Samsung limits to android 7 and Google won't support android 7 with GP support.

Another thing Fiio's been upfront since the beginning and even explained why. So if you want or need that it's not happening officially.

What iems are you guys using with the m11? I use the TFZ No.3 right now and might upgrade to the AUDIOSENSE T800.

Kanas Pro when wired and FA1 when Bluetooth. Looking at the T800 for my next purchase as well.

I am now thinking to wait for the flagship M15 or buy the M11 Pro if it turns out to be really as good as they say about it. True, I have a feeling that the flagship will cost more than $ 1000, I think even $ 1500. Being an audiophile is financially costly ..

Next year will be a better upgrade year for m11 users probably with new updated soc that will support the latest android. So it's a good thing I am on a budget and not have to be tempted to look at other daps at the moment.
