It's very hard to find reviews and feedback on this cable. Can anyone who owns this please share their opinion?
I'm familiar with silver and copper and SPC but I don't know what properties gold have on sound.
Also I was wondering how the larger L shaped connector is with DAPs, is it OK in your pocket and doesn't have to much strain as the cable angles up out of your pocket?

I have been using this cable for several months and really like it. I personally am not an advocate of sound differences due to the type of wire material. Instead, I believe the topology and construction play a far greater role. Having said that, this cable when used with my Meze Rai Penta's presents them as well as I have heard and the cable's flexibility both in construction and connection is excellent. I carefully evaluated other interchangeable connect cables as I am not a fan of plug/unplugging MMCX connectors. Two aspects of FiiO's implementation stand out as compared to the competition especially when used portably. The first is its offset right angle which keeps its profile low and stress on the jack minimal. The second is that the entire connector assembly is short which is essential if the is not to be a levered force against the jack. I have had many portable DAPs and found that the jack is the the most likely component to fail over time and thus considered this an essential feature. While it is not inexpensive, it is of high value if you use multiple connectors with your IEMs.

You could contact my colleague via Aliexpress about the DHL shipment. Generally, the DHL can be faster than the Aliexpress standard shipping for at least one week.
And there are also many feedback about LC-RE in the Aliexpress store. You could read the review from other users in this thread for reference as well.

This cable is not "bright" though I am not familiar with the "D" spec cable. I find it quite neutral.

The only IEM's I use this cable with my Meze Rai Penta's. I have the stock unbalanced cable which if I compare to the FiiO in unbalanced mode, I doubt I would be able to reliably distinguish. However, I use them almost exclusively in balanced configuration and that definitely is better. I describe this in my review at RAI Penta -- Meze Audio's Flagship IEM with Penta Hybrid Driver Technology.

Definitely prefer the Z5 over the IER-Z1R, but that's just me. ^^
