This looks AMAZING. The light reflects the shell really nicely! For nearly $100 USD, let's see if this single driver BA can compete with the $100 F9, and maybe even the F9 Pro! I'd want to see a comparison between the FH1s as well.
Yes, we will have more reviews come out soon; and you can also check the facts comparison at: https://www.fiio.com/fa1_comparisons

I'm not sure how I feel about this. On one hand, the FH5 is one of the most well regarded FiiO products, but mainly for it's unique tuning in the weird price range of $300 IEMs. On the other hand, this is $100, a very competitive price range, while also only having a single balanced armature.
My hopes aren't high, but if FiiO can be competitive at the $100 range with a single BA, I'll be very impressed.

I have both the Fiio fa7 and fh5 that I use with the fiio q5 for my dedicated music listening; the fa1 with over the ear iem design would make horizontal listening for long periods of time bore functional.

The design of the fa1 seems to use a similar body design of the fa7 which is a big improvement from the fh5's body design.

I mean I am more skeptical more sound wise, fit wise the FH5 is a bit chunky but I would rather have that fun bass slam from the dynamic driver personally. I don't really know how good the FA7 is, but the FA1 is still 1BA, which has the spottiest track record of all driver configs.

I should have been more clear, I spend many hours listening to audio and only a small part is listening to music.

The fa1 would be more useful iem for long hours in a horizontal position for listening to other media content.

Edit: as a side note, people who appreciate jazz and classical music might appreciate too that audio text of readings by James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, and T S Eliot could be just as pleasing. :)
