Did upgrade to the latest firmware v1.95. Unfortunately when switching from MQA to normal and vice versa in Tidal I get pop up sounds and some interference. That just happens when using wired, BT is fine. Reverted back to v1.88 and is back to normal

Same here. With v1.95 On Tidal any change from HiFi to MQA or from MQA to HiFi, will give you pops and static.

Yeah it did happened on my BTR 5 MQA version too when I upgraded the firmware! Hopefully @FiiO will fix it in the next possible update

Yeah it did happened on my BTR 5 MQA version too when I upgraded the firmware! Hopefully @FiiO will fix it in the next possible update

Is there a way to set my samsung s21's volume to full when connecting the btr7 or do I need to check every time it's connected?

Also, the ldac settings reset to adaptive when the 7's newly connected. Is there a way set quality as the default. I guess that's a question for android phone users.

As for my Z Fold 4 set to LDAC 990/900 Kbps is really stable with my BTR7, I found the easiest way is to use an App like "Bluetooth Codec Changer" to set default Codec working parameters or create and use different profiles even with AAC if longer playing time is needed.
