I'll likely be returning the BTR7. It just keeps dropping signal for me. For some reason it keeps trying to reconnect. I told myself if it drops the signal one more time I'm returning it. I said this like seven times before finally saying it has to go, because I was really enjoying the device when it works. It seems to be happening mostly in the same location of my gf's apartment which makes me believe a neighbor may have some sort of bluetooth device that's always pairing and the BTR7 is just sensitive to this, I really don't know. I just ordered an A & K SR35 DAP to replace this with.
Just dump the gf.

To be honest, I have no idea which firmware version I am running. I cannot find a way to see the firmware version of my BTR7. 😂

@FiiO , how can I see the firmware version I am running on my BTR7?
My FiiO Control App version is 3.10 (updated this morning, together with the firmware)

In the Fiio control app, go into your device (BTR7), then tap on the cog (Settings) and it will show you which firmware is running.

Update is now v1.95

Can see version on BTR7 itself in menu 'Version'

No change info or manual download yet by the looks.

No idea whats changed, still sounds stunning with my FD7's via 4.4mm over BT LDAC Best.

Thank you, that is correct, the firmware is 1.95 as shown in menu "Version" on the device, itself.

I am enjoying the fabulous sound of the BTR7 with my IMR Elan+ via 4.4mm LDAC

So, @FiiO what does this new firmware bring to the BTR7? :)

Dear friend,
1. Fixed the issue where short audio dropouts such as prompt tone;
2. Fixed the output priority: Post-inserted headphone take priority;
3. Fixed the issue where the connection may switch to USB connection during phone call when connecting to mobile phone via Bluetooth and USB DAC;
4. Miscellaneous bug fixes.

Best regards
