Any chance you could lower the brightness of the two front LEDs? They are bigger and shine brighter than the ones on the top.
We will report to the engineer to assess about that.
Currently, the light could be turned off but the brightness could not be adjusted.

Best regards

You have me wondering if I accidently Double pressed the Codec Button and entered LL mode (would this still allow SBC as I can see the Blue LED when I press the button?) but I am sure it was after a while when I was listening to the the music on Amazon Music HD and noticed the White LED had turned Green, is it possible it changed itself as I have noticed if I walk out of range it will reconnect to LDAC not what whatever I was on before?

You may try to clear the pairing and confirm it is not in LL mode to see whether the issue happens again?

Best regards

In our latest article @Aerosphere checks out the new BTA 30 PRO. HE finds it a clear improvement over the previous-gen, offering cleaner, better, and more dynamic sound quality, punching above our expectations. We're giving it our recommended buy award, now on Headfonia!

Would I plug the Fiio BTA30pro into my Schiit Modi dac (Fiio’s optical out into my DAC) for playing to my receiver or is the Fiio’s built in DAC (RCAs out) just as good? Maybe I could lose the Schiit Modi?

My other usage scenario would be to get LDAC sent to my Bluetooth headphones. I am an iPhone user so I am limited to AAC. However, my plan is to use my iPhone to control my AppleTV which has optical out into the Fiio BTA30pro. That way I can get LDAC to my headphones. Ideally I could get this to work across the house (through walls or even through a floor). If Im not in the same room, I guess I would use airplay. Not sure if using airplay to my AppleTV would lower SQ.

Been listening with this setup: Win10/Tidal/USB >> BTA30P/RCA >> iLoud Micro/3.5mm. The mids & highs sounded quite clean and accurate. The monitors themselves are not very accurate in the lows but warm & exaggerated is how they usually sound, as it's with BTA30P. I can't hear any AC hums on the unbalanced RCAs but it could be due to my setup. Sorry, I have not heard the Modi, but going via optical will have the advantage of eliminating AC hum.

Is there a chance that one of the next firmware will add support for buttons (pause, next track, previous track) from bluetooth adapters (e.g. FiiO BTR3K) during TX mode on Windows10?
We will report to the engineer for check. But this may not be supported by the hardware.

Best regards

Can anyone confirm if volume can be controlled remotely via the app? I would like to run optical from my Apple TV into the BTA30 and then run optical out into my DAC and then to my receiver. I have an old 1971 Marantz 2245 receiver (no volume remote) and would like to know if I can use the BTA30 as a rudimentary volume control.

I will check later for you, I do know unlike the non Pro it can control the Volume for Optical (if you enable it as by default it is not enabled) so the device can at least at a hardware level.
Looks like the optical volume in the app has just 4 or 5 volume settings. Something like 0-30-50-80-100%. Even if it is limited to just that, it’s better than nothing. Lmk what you find out. Thanks
