Yeah I was afraid so but thanks for chiming in, much appreciated!Sounds like a DOA.![]()
It's pretty easy to switch it on - less than 0.5 secs on the left most button will do it (but requires 5 secs to turn it off).Yeah I was afraid so but thanks for chiming in, much appreciated!
Dear friend,I just got my BTA30 PRO, plugged it in to my PC via USB and it didn't let itself power on. Tried it on a normal USB charger, same there.. no lights, nothing. I may be expecting too much, but if the manual says to press the power/input button after connecting it, it should power on, right? Or is there any other way to power it? It might just be DOA, but maybe I am just not seeing/doing the obvious.

Dear friend,Thank you for the support.
The spdif output volume adjustable option is turned off.
When I connect Bluetooth headphones in TX mode, I still cannot get enough volume from Sony PS5.
I set the volume of Sony PS5, BTA30Pro, and the Bluetooth headphone to maximum.
However, it made only a very quiet sound.
Bluetooth headphones used:
- Sony WH-1000XM4
Very quiet sound.
- FiiO UTWS3
The UTWS3 does not output any sound.
It only beeps when the UTWS3 is set to maximum volume.
Best regards.

Unfortunately, it did not solve the volume problem.Dear friend,
We don't have the PS5 to test currently. But I tried to Google and found that some other PS5 users have the same issue when connecting to other USB dac/headphone.
They share some methods in the Internet and you may try whether it helps:
1. Adjust the volume in PS5 and set game’s sound to be louder than voice‘s sound.
2. Reconnect the other USB devices connecting to the PS5.
Best regards
I did both of that, yes.. also another USB charger and also tried it on both, my desktop PC and laptop (the later has power-through or what it's called that powers USB devices even if the laptop is off). All to no avail. It's alright, it's on its way back to the seller but I did order a replacement one already. It's pretty easy to switch it on - less than 0.5 secs on the left most button will do it (but requires 5 secs to turn it off).
Have you tried swapping the USB cable and charger (more than 1 amp)? If yes, then I would suspect a DOA unit too.
