alright so I've sold xba-a2 and keep fidue a73 not because it's better but because a73 is better for me. I wouldn't be able to say which is better of the two, hence this is why I think fidue a73 is a better value for money, since a73 is about half price of sony xba-a2
plus a73 has about 15-20 percent more detail than xba-a2

Totally understandable. Because imo the Chinese IEM market are fierce in competition, if your product doesn't stand out and perform you sink and drown. The upside is us the consumer completely benefit from this aspect.

Can anyone here say that the A73 sort of has the sound sig of the HD600? I am inlove with the HD600's sound sig and I am trying to look for an IEM with the same sound sig.

Not really. I wouldn't make that comparison.

I think my HD600 sounds warmish with terrific balance across the whole spectrum. Aside from the usual/known difference between full size cans and IEMs (soundstage, resolution etc), what are the difference between the two? And if you really think they differ greatly in sound sig, what IEMs do you think will be closer to the HD600 within the price range of the A73? Im so sorry for asking this question here, I am getting a little pumped up for the A73 since I am having this image in my mind that it may be a good alternative to my HD600 when I am outside.

From what I remember, the HD600 is colder with less bass quantity, it's more dynamic with a much larger soundstage. But as you said, these are usual suspects. The A73 is a great sounding and technical IEM, but it's not in the same league as the HD600. Would it be as enjoyable to me as the HD600? I would say probably yes.

I thought the HD600 had a smaller soundstage than the A73. The HD600 was much more laid back and had tamer highs.  Although there is more detail in the HD600s I enjoyed the A73 more because it sounded livelier. The A73 is an awesome buy

Thanks! I do expect the A73 to be not on par with the HD600 and you sort of answered my question. I'm just getting tired of my Brainwavz B2's sound sig (bright with inadequate bass quantity, but with topnotch clarity and fast transient response) and I am thinking of getting a pair of warmish IEM that has a little bit of elevated bass. I can actually audition the A73 first and I hope it will suit my needs.

And HD600 and A73 don't really sound alike but are both great

YMMV but I can't imagine the A73 to have a larger soundstage than the HD600 because the A83 that I tried before has a smaller soundstage, though I will find out about it once I get to audition them lovely A73.

The soundstage A73 is above average for an IEM and the soundstage of the HD600s isn't the greatest, even for an open can. But yes YMMV. The A73's soundstage is very tip dependent also (I used bi flanges, anything else decreases the soundstage considerably). Make sure you audition with the right tips.
