These IEMS make me listen to all my music again ..its sounds fantastic with an iphone and my trusty sony A17....and the built in mic is excellent for taking calls i really have no complaints about these...I compared them to my Yamaha EPH -100 they blow the Yamaha's away in terms of clarity and details retrieval ...My Yamaha's sound muddy to me now

Haven't had a chance to try the X5ii as yet. Tried it with the HA2 from Oppo and I still find the highs a bit harsh. Foam tips helped me get a better fit and the treble is manageable now.
I'm on the lookout for a warmer DAP and waiting for the Cayin N5 and hoping it retains the N6's signature.
Don't go warmer, go with a less powerful output source.

I really think my a73 sounds great, almost it's best through my G3

There are no recessed mids with the A73. Not a single review or comment about the A73 has even remotely mentioned having recessed mids. I mean no offense with this comment, but why would you ask the guy if the A73 has recessed mids? He's not the first person to comment on the sound..more like the 20th?!

I was watching this when the DPD delivery chap rang my doorbell to deliver my pair from yourselves

Loving the A73s though DPD did manage to delay my next day delivery by 24 hours, which kind of defeats the object really.

No burn in so far as I've only had them 20 minutes but I already prefer them to my RHA MA750s, the bass has more impact and really growls and there is more detail in the highs, a real bargain.

It would be interesting to hear from you how the A73 compare to the MA750s. How are the A73s better/worse compared to MA750?

I already did, that's what you just quoted.

I always liked the rolled off highs of the MA750s but the A73s make them sound muffled in comparison and after listening to them for 5 hours last night, Fidue have done it without making them sibilant or fatiguing. Vocals are right there, front and centre and are very impressive and the separation of all of the instruments is nothing short of spectacular. Bass is a lot stronger than with the MA750s, there is more of it, though it never becomes overbearing, it just sounds like the A73s have a lot more slam, grunt and growl in the low end than the MA750s.

Overall they just sound better in every way to me but as always, YMMV.

I agree you did say a few things. But I'm so excited about these things(and the fact that you too have the MA750) that I wanted to hear a bit more :D Thanks for your impressions about these. Cleared any doubts that I had. I ordered a pair of A73 today :) Can't wait to listen to them on my Fiio X5 ii. Cheers!

Any comparisons with Macaw GT100s?

 Which one is more detailed?

  Just got mine.
The bass is much better then the DN1k however I feel details were better on Dunus and Dunus had more "fun" sound while like is laid back.

Just burn them in and share your impressions again please:)

How many hours do they need to be burned in for?

At least 20 hours. Better to burn in for 50-100 hours to get the fullest sound from dynamic based İEMs
