If I could just tame the bass a tiny bit --- this will be the perfect IEMs for my Fuze!

More clay?

I think the trick is to "contain/control" the amount of leak that's coming out - think "ported" (vent) casing like that of the MDR7550.
I am playing with it right now and putting some 3M Micropore around the gap is helping

The mids on my pair has become very coherent and simply amazing

I use the moon audio silver dragon, deeper deeper bass, and much better treble. After burning the cable in about 48 hours the difference is very dramatic.

I looked up the price and lol'd. I'm not sure I want to spend that much on my first cable.

I understand, I did not want to spend that kind of money either. After several different customs and what not the cable was always the weakest link to my rigs. The money I spent on the iem's themselves could never reach full potential with a stock cable. I felt like my money was flapping in the breeze unless I took care of the weakest link. Daps, amps, iems and headphones are all great but if I can't get the best sound to my ears it's meaningless to me. Stock cables where holding my systems back.

Mine is just a treble boost preset: +2.3 @ 2650 hz, and +5.7 @ 16khz. I'm about to try yours to see if I like it better.

I like it! Thanks for that.

I'm listening to Mickey Hart's (the percussionist) "Supralingua" album. Amazing stuff. The GR07 has a very slight advantage in the tonality of the drums, but the ASG-1 just has more power, and the hits are more 3D in the sense that you can hear them resonate around the recording studio.

What is this speed test? I need to test out the AS-2b's and was actually about to post asking about ways to test speed.

I just tested the ASG-1 using Kiteki's speed test. It's almost (or just) as fast as the GR07. The track I used was Versailles' Silent Knight.
