Little bit off topic but I'd appreciate your input. Im just ordering Gu.Craftsman cable for the Roland and I'm on the fence do I go with or without ear-hooks?

In one hand I hate when ear-hooks tangle as soon as I look at them and i spend 2-3 min unwrapping the mess. But in the other if I go without would that be more prone to scratches for IEMs or maybe not as comfortable around the ear?

What is good way to fix loose .78mm sockets on an IEM? Any DIY ideas? I don't really want to send them in

I tried alot of different cables on my S6Rui and now things a very loose ...

BTW: I just got a pair of moondrop A8's ... I have small ears ... so getting a good fit and tip combination has been frustrating .... Right now using spinfit double flange model ... But they hurt after an hour or so

When I do get a good fit things sound better and the bass seems a bit more than the S6Rui ... but most of the time the A8 fit/seal just isn't good enough

Hi all,

anyone to compare CA Solaris and F Roland?

Heard the Solaris, an amazing piece. Just wish it had a bit more bass, but less than Polaris. I wonder how it compares to the Roland.

Thx.
By the looks of things the Roland is flat neutral, so likely less bass than the Solaris.

And this is why 2-pin connectors can be enough to make me not buy a product: they will eventually inevitably become loose to the point of not working properly, and there’s no real solution.
The only thing you can do is bend the pins on the cable a tiny bit, which will make it a tighter fit. You can pretty much do it with your fingers, but just be careful.

Adjust the pins, not the sockets. Use something like the narrow end of a pen to push between and widen the pins just a tinyyyy bit.

ER2SE one of the mids king. Eq the bass up (if you need it) will give a balance sound without any bass bleed. How's Roland compare to these?

edit: just realize the dip of 8-9khz which is opposite to the Roland

You're fine bud!

just whenever you had a change seeing used er2se to try out, give it a chance if you curious about its mids. Even the new er2 is just $120 and i warn you that it's DEEP~
