Nice looking amp. I am somewhat leaning toward the tube sounds lately.. So, this looks very solid/tempting amp.

I think what people are driving at is...what specifically went into the design of the amp to make it a good match with the HD800? Is it an impedance thing, or perhaps tonal matching..? I find the idea of an amp specifically targeted at a certain headphone to be intriguing. Cheers.

Is more technical information available?

From the looks of things, it has diodes for rectification. I wonder if it is regulated. And, no doubt, it is built on a PCB.

It's a fully balanced OCL tube design. Two 12AT7 GOLD will be used as pre-tubes, and four 6H30PI GOLD as power tubes.

The prototype will be shown tomorrow at a headphone gathering at Shenzhen. I just wonder if this is the world's first ever head amp exclusively tuned for HD800.

I'm intrigued since I have an HD800 myself, but I have little information at this moment. I only know the impedence will be matched with HD800. I'll ask the guys who will attend the headphone gathering today for their impression.

Hmm... looks like a re-branded MKVI to me.I also don't get the "tuned for HD800" part, The MKVI should have ample power for the Senns, so what have they done different?
