I need to learn my German. Thanks. I might just do a collection of the IE 200,300, and 600 and call it a day. My Sony IER-Z1R more than satisfied my high end crave for solid IEMs.
That’s why I never pulled the trigger, even though they dropped to $399 on Sennheiser refurb site.. BummerHi everyone
IE600 still have QC issue (one side stop working after little bit)?

Sounds like if I order them, best to get them with a 5 year warranty. That’s sad if the QC is that frequent.I own 5-6 sennheiser over ears and love’em…. So I don’t know what’s up with the QC on these.. Maybe they’re just delicate devices…
Yes. I replaced mine under warranty and within 2 weeks I had the same issue on the left driver. It cuts out occasionally so it seems to be a connection issue and moving the cables around a bit usually sorts it out. I'm just waiting for it to be more frequent before I return it for another set.Hi everyone

To be fair, we haven't seen many new complaints here for a while, mostly people talking about earlier experiences so I wouldn't worry about it too much. The only problem I had was a badly fitting connector on one side, a replacement cable sorted it but I bought a third party cable anyway as I didn't like the supplied one and they've been perfect ever since.Hi everyone

This mirrors my experience exactly. To be fair, we haven't seen many new complaints here for a while, mostly people talking about earlier experiences so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Probably the stock cable is too thin? Hopefully Sennheiser will improve the cables quality in the future. The factory cables that came with my IE600 gave connection problems causing audio cut outs from literally day one.
I have used four other aftermarket cables on my IE600 without a single problem.
