Yesterday sent email to support finally within warranty to tell em I want to send my 600s that both now cut out (with different cables). Hope it goes smoothly!

I'm on my third pair (due to severe volume reduction in one IEM). In both cases Sennheiser sent me a brand new factory sealed replacement, no questions asked.

Excellent news. Sounds v promising. Who did you contact ? To expedite correcting my mistake if I made one.. i went through ennheiser hearing spare parts and followed the selections , I'd say that'll do it but maybe your way was better.

I will save the link as, based on what I keep reading on here, it is just a matter of time before I will have to go for service too ..
Hope to be lucky enough to fall within the warranty period.
One of my IE800S drivers failed just after 2 years, this being one of the reasons I coudn't keep the IE900, even though I really liked it.

Is it a common case for all their IE earphones to have driver issues? I bought the IE 300 and hope it won’t have any issues. I was considering the 600 or 900 next

My IE300s (which are older than my IE600s) are still working fine. But, the nozzle on one IEM did come loose... I just glued it back on and all is fine.

I would buy a replacement pair, but they don't seem to be available from reliable sources any longer.

If you can find a shop in Japan, they may deliver worldwide

i have the 600 since 2 years, zero problems.
I can't deny that there are sometimes problems, but in my opinion the vast majority of buyers have no problems with. And as is so often the case, what you often see on the net are the complaints.

I can't speak about IE300 (it seems that is not the case for the same failures though) but starting with IE800S and then IE600/IE900, many driver failures have been reported.

It seems to be a gamble to get either one. I wouldn’t want it to fall apart :triportsad:

Is it a good to get the IE600 with a 5 year warranty? I’m hoping the cases are that frequent
