I’ve just made my appointment for tomorrow already at my local Geers hearing aid audiologist which is the company Sennheiser is teaming up with on this custom comfort tips pilot program.

Excited :)

I have just come from the audiologist and only a fairly quick silicone imprint/cast was taken of both my ears. Pretty standard procedure without a 3D scan or anything. I could still decide on a colour (black) and from now on it will take about 2 weeks until I can pick up the custom earplugs there. I will give updates as soon as something new comes up.

Hi All, I recently picked up a pair of HD660S2 open backs and am loving the sound. I was hoping to see if any of you have also grabbed a pair and are able to provide insight on whether the IE600 would be a similar sound. I'm looking for a set of IEMs that I can use in bed at night without bothering my wife. The ones I have (FH9) are semi open and she can hear what I'm listening to.

I think I've narrowed it down to the IE600, but want to be sure. I have had the IE800 IE800S in the past and really liked them for my go about sets.

Appreciate any feedback :)

I keep my Noble FoKus Mystique at home and use them when I walk the dog or head into the city on mass transit but I keep my FiiO BTR7 and IE600 in my work bag so I always have them there. My dog comes to the office every day so when I walk him there, it's always the IE600 in my ears.

Every work day for the last couple of months I just have a smile on my face listening to these, they are just so damn good. I mean it literally crosses my mind every walk still, damn these things are amazing.

Only thing I wish is I could touch the IE600 to skip and pause tracks lol

You could try the iFi Go Pod, the wireless amp that turn your wire IEMs into wireless IEMs with pause and skip functions. I use it with my 64 Audio U4s when I am at work and need to move around.

The IE600 have proprietary recessed MMCX connectors or I would definitely have gotten those, they look good! My one complaint about the IE600 is that!

Have you contacted iFi to ask if their MMCX connector would fit the IE600 sockets?

I have not, but thanks for the suggestion, I'll shoot them an email. But from my research, if they fit on regular mmcx connectors, they don't work with the Senns

Doesn’t hurt to ask. Different product… But I had inquired about the MMCX connector used by Effect Audio on their cables and was told that their connectors would fit the IE600 sockets as well as regular MMCX sockets. So it’s possible that iFI could have made the same designs.
