Better as in an improvement in all of its aspects, across the board.Better? Depends what you define as better? They will be different for sure soundwise. But in the technical front I think they are more or less equal.

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600

Don't you clean your iems regularly.Guys, making the jump up from the JVC HA-FDX1 and looking at which IEMs to go for. Would the Sennheiser IE600 be significantly better and worth it? What I want is a durable and comfortable IEM that is value for money as well, and whose earpiece grills won't soil up in a year or two and ruin it.
For hygiene sake it pays to the last thing you want is ear infections.

After a couple of days of research I finally found the difference in packaging of fake vs original IE600.
I circled the difference in red. Original box does not have a gap through which the 'table' is visible:
Photo of the fake box from a review on Aliexpress. Review is dated Aug 9th 2022:

That's a serious stupid mistake... What was Xerox machine not working ?!?!?!
I clean the eartips and all, but I tried to clean the grills on my JVC HA-FDX1s and the grill came out altogether (was using a needle if I remember right). Either that, or the earwax got stuck in the grills even more because of my tinkering. How do you clean yours and how often?Don't you clean your iems regularly.

FYI, the genuine box (bottom) is from the original USA pre-order (direct from Sennheiser), ordered on 5/12/2022 and delivered on 5/26/2022.
Of course, only buy from Sennheiser/a valid Sennheiser dealer, but NEVER EVER EVER EVER put a counterfeit product in your ears.

If these are being assembled in Ireland, how is China able to counterfeit them? That's wild.
The barrier to entry for creating a look-alike is low, even more so these days with open access to materials and small batch machinery. The ability to duplicate the actual feel and performance, however, is proprietary. If these are being assembled in Ireland, how is China able to counterfeit them? That's wild.
And remember the name of the game is deception. These sellers will take a picture of the real thing and then sell you the knockoff.

The "A's are good for cheap stuff, like DAP plastic cases and the like.IE 900 is not made in China either. Any successful product with a successful brand attached will be copied, not just earphones. It is quite easy in this age of manufacturing to make something look like the real thing. And it doesn't even have to match the picture of the item. Never buy from a non-authorized retailer if you want the real thing brand new (unless a fellow community member can vouch for the source of goods in a trusted p2p market like Head-Fi). Reward your favorite audiophile dealers with your hard-earned money, not Alibaba or Ali-express.
It beggars the mind that someone would send real money to a random Chinese website.

Yeah, I only go there to buy cables, adapters, etc. Only purchased an IEM on there once but that was from an official store, so no worries there. Wouldn't dare purchase a non Chi-Fi brand name from there though. The "A's are good for cheap stuff, like DAP plastic cases and the like.

Just remember that "Official Store" apparently doesn't mean what you would think in the AliExpress world (at least in this case):

Why is a POP needed? No problem - confirmed. Just be able to provide a proof of purchase.
To exclude buyers outside of Earth who are not covered under a Global Warranty?
