I think they are (moisture seems to be a common issue for IEMs). Try putting the IE600 in a box with silica gel to see if it comes back.No but I've never had moisture issues any IEMs I own.
Are these prone to humidity? maybe that was the culprit.

DC-ELITE with IE600 has just added another year of daily use without getting itch to upgrade. Into 3rd year... 1st year no dac.. 2nd year with Qudelix, and now this crazy dac... I lucked in to the pros of gradual up gaming path and I'm glad. That thing is expensive but a new pair of iems would have been x2,,, now I have it as maybe the best iem platform there is and will have a happy year to build up for a Thieaudio (or anything I want) with my renewed nuptials with the 600s. It's amazing.
I reckon I've navigated diminishing returns like a pro surfer , the wave is maintained.. Nuchaku or obvious warmer source would have been a side quest that can still work, but to make sure the crest kept at a peak it really had to be DCElite (or Mojo 2 but *** coloured balls/size for practical OTG)
500(+splitter cable) well spent!! *OK!!?*

Hello,
actually i use a Moondrop Dawn Pro. Do you think a Cayin Ru-6 or Ibasso DC 07 Pro will improve the sound quality in combination with the ie600 or not?

Take a look at the RU7 instead of RU6, it will bring the IE600 to a new levelHello,

Try timsok ts-316. Paired with dc elite exceptionaly well. I liked it moore than sennheiser ie 800, ie 800 s, simgot ea 1000 and campfire ara. They eating even to my times with aful cantor. Ts 316 only 300 dolars cost.DC-ELITE with IE600 has just added another year of daily use without getting itch to upgrade. Came here to read up and see if it had happened to anyone else, just to find that it apparently had happened to many people
Left channel just about died (you could hear sound from there at like 1% volume).
About 1 year in on a 2 year warranty, went to the store I bought them via, and sent the IEMs in to Sennheiser, without any accessories whatsoever.
A few days later I got a message from them, went in, got a brand new box off the shelf at the store, no questions asked.
1) Thanks to Sennheiser for treating me this professionally and not starting something.
2) Oh noes what a bummer, I absolutely -love- this IEM! I had mentally accepted these as the end-game IEM for me, now I am worried that these ones will break in a year or two again as well
maybe even right after the warranty has run out..

I'm on my third pair...
Shanling SONO sounds very similar to my ears, and it's much more affordableWould love to try these someday heard so many good things about them

I prefer my Letshuoer S12 Pro.
Of course it is all very subjective but there is nothing particularly special about the IE600 in my opinion and I think they are overpriced, especially considering the tips and cables were all unusable for me, the sound cutting in and out with both cables from brand new and the tips being junk.

Mine are still working great. Been using a cheap cable but I have a Hart Audio custom cable coming Friday.

I got my second pair a month ago, replacement for the first pair after a month under 2 years.
Needless to say. Now that they are plugged in to the pentaconn leads, they will NOT be unplugged ever again if I can help it.
