A very odd time I suppose to mention that I've been having channel imbalance, left side is more silent than the right. I confirmed using multiple cables, including the stock ones, did driver matching testing, flipped the L/R and it was all the same as much as I wished otherwise. I've babyed them pretty hard as well, not a single drop. Bought in November of 23 directly from the Sennheiser website. On the other hand I've been relatively rough on the IE200s and they've held up with no issues. For those who had to RMA what was the process like? I still have the box and everything that it came with including the paper with all the order info, can I just send it back in the same box? Also what exactly is the RMA process like? In terms of the site, and general timeline, if it matters at all i'm on the west coast.

EDIT: It does suck that this happened, these are my all time favorite IEMS, used day in and out while working and studying, very disheartened by the issues these seem to plagued with.

EDIT 2: Just got off the phone with their support, seems to not be a bad experience, still in warranty and have my invoice from them, so just a matter of dropping it off to UPS or something with IEMs + invoice + RMA paperwork. I'll just use the box it came with. The nice lady on the phone did mention if they can't fix it they'll just give me a new one, hopefully it won't be some weird issue where they give me an IE300 or take months.

I just sent back the two IEMs without cables or accessories and received back a brand new sealed retail box. Now I have extra cables, etc. Note that I have replaced mine twice (both RMA due to developing severe channel imbalance). I fully expect them to fail again.

How long was the turn around for you?

Sent in on 5/10/24 and new one delivered on 5/17/24, pretty fast... one week.

I'm getting warranty repair replace myself and it's coming a week after sending . Collected Monday before last. From Ireland, and on the way.. The estimated tome say next Thursday but it's in transit already so gotta be this Monday.
dang that is pretty fast. I dropped it off at UPS and payed for 3 day shipping, so hopefully if service is gonna be anything like your experiences i'll be back in business soon.

EDIT:
RMA completed and they sent me a sealed new pair of IE600. Took about 1.5 weeks. It looks like they've changed the packaging since I first bought my set from them directly. According to the certificate these had their final check as of September 2nd, 2024 I've included images to show the new packaging, but a quick summary is:
- there's a hole in the outermost box, I assume to make it easier to push out the tray
- The IEM's themselves are housed differently in the tray itself

I just ordered some Mee Audio triple flange tips to try because the generic ones I'm currently using keep coming off in my ears.

Replacement 600s for 2 weeks and I thought crap was kicking off with the cutting out already on both. But no, my Qudelix is acting up,, 107 days left warranty. It's a bit banged up the clip is skewed. Would that be a bit cheeky sending back a skewed Qudelix . Anyway the plugs are fine. Anyone recommend good synergy dongle. I'm eyeing up DC ELITE, if I could turn that into bluetooth with a little transmitter and that sounded good enough I'd go for it , because the wired would be amazing.

Are there any wireless adapters that work with the IE series aside from the iFi go pod and the strauss and wagner options?

iFi Go pod is too expensive and the strauss and wagner ones are not the form factor I am looking for.

Searched a bit through the thread but didn’t find much.

Left side on my pair died a few hours ago, own time was aprox 14 months.

Completely dead, zero sound coming from the left side even when swapping cables.

Won't consider any IEMs from Senn moving forward, this level of poor QC is not acceptable on an IEM retailing for $800

Do you store them in a box with silica gel after listening?
