Just for those who are interested the Ie600 pairs really well with the Hiby RS2. The bass gets a little bump and the treble is a tad smoother.
Yeah, they have eliminated the need or the want (that which defines an audiophile) for another set. I am planning to sell most of my other IEMs and half a mind to sell my Monarch MK II as well. I probably won't, even with their fit issues, but the IE600 is that good for my need.if you have a BTR7 and like a bit more bass. I have the lowest three frequencies all bumped up between 2 and 3db, and man these buds are fricking amazing. I'm completely blown away by these little guys (with an aftermarket cable, not for the fake SQ upgrade, but for the comfort)
Totally amazing. I have no itch to buy new IEM's for a long time. They really are so good for $599.
Previous posts suggested Eros S or the Cadmus from Effect Audio. I have a set of Eros S paired with some 64 Audio CIEMs and I love it. I don’t currently own the IE600 but have been thinking about getting a pair. I just don’t know if the Effect Audio mmcx connector are designed to fit the recessed sockets on the IE600.Is there a consensus on a good aftermarket cable for these yet? I have the linsoul one, which ergonomically is much better but the connectors don't like to stay put.
Also eartips. I like the sound of the stock ones and nothing I've tried matches it, but they're super annoying on the extended setting which is how they sound best to me.
You can have custom-made cables from the xinhs official store in AliExpress. The price can vary from $20 to $100+ based on your choice. I recently bought a modular 4 core graphene coated cable for about $50. Be sure to check with the guy and make sure it will be for IE600 since the mmcx is different and needs to be customized. I suggest you wait for a sale so that it can be even cheaper. Is there a consensus on a good aftermarket cable for these yet? Is that the Ares? How does it sound with the IE600? I love the Eros S with my 64 Audio iems.

I'm also interested in a good aftermarket cable. Thanks for all the suggestions! Is there a consensus on a good aftermarket cable for these yet? I have the linsoul one, which ergonomically is much better but the connectors don't like to stay put.

Many people use U shaped and V shaped interchangeably. The 600 has mids that are recessed compared to its subbass and treble. Whether you want to call they U shaped or V shaped is up to you.Bloom Audio just posted a review of the IE600 on Youtube. The reviewer said that there aren’t any aftermarket cable options for the IE600 which is not true. The reviewer also said IE600 delivers a U shaped sound signature. Many posts in this thread all say IE600 is a V shaped sound. So who’s correct? Is the IE600 sound V shaped or U shaped?
Right now I am in search of my endgame IEMs and headphones. Looking at the IE600 as a possible endgame universal IEM and the 64 Audio N8 or A13t as my endgame CIEM. I’m having the worst FOMO and that’s keeping me from pulling the trigger.
My current setup is a pair of 10 year old 1964 Ears V3 CIEMs paired with a set of EA Eros S cable, and the go-to source is the Sony WM1AM2.
