The seal is perfect, I use the HiFiMan HM-601 as well as my Sansa Clip as my source with flac/320kbs. I am probably just used to the excellent highs of the TF10.

I get what you're saying as the highs are better on the TF10. I like everything else about the 530 better but there is a bump in the lower trebble before it rolls. It was the one aspect of them that I wished were better but it wasn't that severe unless your very used to a different sig which the TF 10 certainly is. It's more a matter of the bump masking the extention that it not having any. This is the part they fixed with the 535. It's smoother and more extended 'sounding' even though it doesn't extend further. Highs on their own are still not as sweet as the TF10 but for me, it's a better phone in the mids and bottom and I've owned both. Call the bottom a wash if you like but for me the Shure sounds more linear with the harmonics lining up better.
