Odin and LX SE are massively different. They are both amazing IMHO. They do have two DD drivers and BA mids :) but the bass, mids, and treble sound nothing alike.
Oh definitely, I really can't see myself liking the LX without major changes, so thats just a pipedream and my inner Odin shill typing out loud

Your local dealer just might be crazy. Nothing alike despite dual DD.
To give them the benefit of the doubt, this was back in Feburary and I've never had the honour of trying the prototypes they had. Back it was "X Series new flagship, so it must be LX with estats" given the Valkyrie.

He loves the LX too.

Charles definitely loves the LX.
But he enjoyed taking out the Valkyrie a bit more due to the fit. But if it was in custom form he'd take the LX anyday. But this conversation was before the Odin was even announced.

Odin bass is about as refined and natural as you can get. LX bass is as refined and powerful as you can get.

I

Seeing all the Legend X posts I thought I'd ask my question. I purchased the universal version 3 months ago, and now one of the Final Audio tips won't say on the iems. It's stretched too much to stay. So, 1. Is three months a normal amount of time for this to happen? and 2. will they "shrink back" after not being used for a while?
Thanks.
This can also be from skin oil and earwax making the tips slick. A little alcohol swab.. and I cannot emphasize this enough, A LITTLE bit of alcohol can be used to clean the outer IEM nozzle and the inside of the final E tips. This typically will break down the oil residue and restore the factory "grip" level.

I was going to recommend wiping the inside of the tip and the nozzle as well

Same stuff on my Nemesis. And it's just ONE of the M sized tips, which best fits me! Though last month i kind of got addicted to L ones with shallow fit, so this is not much issue for me anymore.

Today I just tried the Hugo2 with my Odin for the first time. I got mixed up with the color code of the Hugo2 volume knob (mistaking white color for lowest volume!!) and ended up blasting my Odin with max volume of probably >1000mw for about 5 seconds!! Did a sound check after the accident and all is well :relaxed:. I don’t know if I was just lucky or EE actually did a great job with the quality of the IEM. Phew!!
