Today I attended the Empire Ears Thailand launch event in Bangkok. I spent some time with most of the new IEMs and was really impressed with each one. If anyone is on the fence about getting any of these I'd say be like Nike and Just Do It!

A couple of my favourites were the Bravado and of course the Legend X but actually, they're all insanely good.

Chord Mojo/Poly to Zeus XR

Beautiful setup. That rig just purrrss... Impressions on if the Poly improves the sound of the Mojo with the USB cable out of the loop? Does it make the Mojo sound the way it should?

Poly gets the best sound out of mojo, but poly is a half baked product right now, you should wait

Dan, have you seen the new faceplate designs that Catherine came up with? I got one as I couldn't resist. Getting my wife one of them just because of the cool looks. lol. I have a Mojo that I'm about to post for sale. I was going to get teh Poly and just didn't like what they came up with. Got the ak380cu and am not looking back.

Phantom universal would be Caviar Black with Gold EE logos. If you went with a custom fit it is no extra cost to customize the colors.

I wonder if they can do that for an uncharge? Ethan spelled it out a few pages ago. I thought he mentioned what can and can't be done for IEM Phantom and X.

Unless you hear from Jack or I on here that the flagships offer free customizations for universal, that is not true. If that changes I will update everyone.

Nick's impressions here are quite accurate. I believe the Phantom would definitely be a big upgrade over many high end options! It has fantastic bass extension that is tight in it's presentation, and smooth, more organic midrange than many traditional BA IEMs that never comes off has harsh in it's quantity. And as Nick said, it has great resolution, without ever coming off as harsh in the treble.

Unless I am misinformed, I think universal designs are all standard and can't be customized like the customs.

Unless they make changes to that, I remember last time for the old lineups, theres a MTO(made to order) option for that, I did my customization for my universal Arthur & Zeus R G1 Adel

You are correct as of now ALL universal are in black with gold EE logo, I ordered mine few days ago was going to get custom color and faceplate, but that not an option

What I absolutely would want is recessed sockets. Those are missing in the current design
