I bought 3k iems to listen to electronic music and i realize most of its made by kids on 800 dollar laptops still living with their parents. But the bass boost suits the style quite well

there is so much quality electronic music , especially from the 90s/00s

now if you listen to modern day garbage like guetta etc , well yeah it's gonna sound like crap

either is fine-just looking for something as good bass wise for 300-400 less on the used market than what the Evo goes for which is currently 15-1600 used

you keep using vague relative terms like " better" ive listened to many 1000+ and even 3000+ IEMS and cans that i did not like at all, weather its build quality or turning. For alot of younger people airpods do fine right? All hi-fi is relative kinda like your taste in sexual partner, some people have a "Type" some people have many "Types" so it comes down to what kind of FR youre looking for. personally i like EE's tuning. Are you located in the US? why dont you split up the payments via CC or Affirm?

You could find a used legend x for around 1100. Not better than evo but up there bass wise

By better , you’re looking purely for a stronger bass response? EVO is pretty up there in the bass head department. If I had to guess, try the Mastero SE or Legend X?

The FatFreq Mastero SE is very similar to Evo in the bass department. Evo just has the edge because of the BCD where can feel the Bass.
