I believe the Sonion e-stats used in the Wraith were first gen and required more power, hence the complaints some users had about its performance. I would imagine the Odyssey is using the same 2nd gen e-stats as in the Odin.

Great. I know a lot of IEMs using the e-stats, like Elysian Annihilator had that rep too. Kinda kills the point of an IEM if you need an TOTL DAP or amp to hear it at its best

Never heard the Wraith but the problem with a lot of EST implementations is that manufacturers were not dampening the non EST drivers , so you weren’t hearing what the EST are capable of. It’s why IEMs like Annihilator take a lot of juice to hit normal listening volumes. It’s a properly done EST implementation along with a solid amount of treble in the IEM tuning also.

Like I said. I heard it on a Chord Hugo 2 and Lotoo S2. I was pleased with both and didn’t need to crank my volume on the Lotoo S2 to achieve great sound quality. Obviously with the Hugo 2 there was a bit more depth as with most anything you plug into it, but nothing crazy.

I figured, but if he could afford cables lik3 those multiple Odins wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility.

Literally one of those cables is probably worth all of my cables combined.

I use the PWA Attila Shielding on my Odin as well driven by my Lotoo Titanium dap, sounds heavenly.

Odin treble is really enhanced with an R2R dac. Can't wait to demo the RS8 this weekend at CanJam with Odin to see what magic it does.
