I’d be extremely surprised considering I drove it very well with a Lotoo S1 and L&P W2

I wouldn't be surprised. I have yet to run into an Empire iem that I couldn't drive properly!

Honestly I haven't seen any IEM I couldn't drive with any source I had or tested. It is actually the opposite, the source is usually too powerful our of Balanced, my safe volume on most of my sources were under 5 (digital), under 9 PM (analog). (haven't tried many EST though, just Valk mk.I and Odin)

Told the contractor doing my kitchen re-model that I want to re-configure the planned kitchen island because I want to bury the cost of the LX EVO in the re-model budget. He gave me a dead-eyed stare showing he had no clue of what I was speaking. This shamed me into a follow-up of "Uhhh, never mind."
