Switching between Stormbreaker and Code51. Both cables make the Odin sound awesome.

i think , that also depends on the ears .. not only the tips . Xelastecs improved every iem for me , cause it offer just an better seal for my ears than other tips .
First time hearing about these. I’ve been rocking the spin fits but may have to try some new ones just to switch it up

Pretty surprised at the pairing but Odin sounds great from the Blackgate RomiMod WM1Z and PW adapter. I'm also using those Sedna Xelastecs, they provide an excellent seal and are super comfortable.
I enjoyed the C3R enough that I bought it after reviewing it, as I couldn't be without it after hearing what it could do. While I have not heard the C3xR in direct comparison, it is the same configuration so it should sound somewhat the same with the balanced X version having the convenience factor of the balanced plugin. However, the R has 7.5 watts for the single-ended where the xR has only 3.75 watts single-ended due to the balanced design with the balanced being 7.5 watts. I liked the idea of having more power going to the single and using a balanced to SE adapter.Any thoughts is the Burson C3R vs the C3XR? I looked up the C3R and noticed the C3XR but did not notice a difference. Tks.

I’m curious about that adapter. It’s for a 4.4mm cable? What kind of effect does it have?

I believe it uses the gnd connection from the 3.5mm side on the last pole. I picked it up to use with the Mass Kobo since they recommend that extra gnd connection. I like the fact that the adapter uses the same 1960s cable as the Stormbreaker.

Hey @Jack Vang can we use those Hearing Aid dryers with UV light on EE IEMs?
For example the one below.

I know it's not good for the cables (UV and PVC are not best friends), but I'm not sure for the acrylic.
Cheers

No issues!
Reading 'between the lines' here so correct me if I'm wrong, but based on your comments about the Her's treble energy, and the fa t that you use the FiiO M11 Pro as your DAP, I take it you enjoy a brighter, crisper sound than a warmer, more relaxed tonality. I also gather you enjoy listening to metal/rock, which tallies with the first assumption. Am I right? The treble will come off as too powerful for some as I feel it's right at the cusp.

I like a detailed and crisp sound just as much as a warm relaxed sound. I use an m11 pro because I don’t have anything else really lol. I went after IEM’s instead of DAP’s. Now that I’m satisfied with my current IEM line up I’ll go hunt down a proper DAP. Metal/Rock is what I primarily listen to but I don’t find enjoyment like some do with full BA on metal. Much of the metal I listen to can have a lot of bass and be quite warm on its own. Others can be lighter on bass and benefit from warmth. Here’s a fun electro-metal song to get a giggle.. instrumentally it’s energetic though.Reading 'between the lines' here so correct me if I'm wrong, but based on your comments about the Her's treble energy, and the fa t that you use the FiiO M11 Pro as your DAP, I take it you enjoy a brighter, crisper sound than a warmer, more relaxed tonality. WOW - never knew those existed... and in such reasonable price!
@Jack Vang - no issue with CIEMs as well?
Also, if I go with such UV light cleaning device - should I disconnect the cable first?
