Based on prior releases and what this seems to be targeting, that certainly seems possible. Can't say I'm in the market for probably a 3k+ iem now (or ever), but I definitely have been following this release with some interest.
Agreed.
My speculation is based on a combo of the LX, Valk, and Wraith given this will be the new flagship of the X series.
The config (tri-brid) from the Valk; 2 W9s like the LX; 4 ESTs like the Wraith. The Wraith and LX have 3 mids...
But who knows...we shall find out in about a week!
Man, if it has >2 W9s I will lose my s**t.

Yeah, I'm with you.
Unless it is some wildly new/different config, tuning, etc., I may have to hold for a bit.
I am still furiously on the hunt for an LX SE. I think I'd rather have that pre-owned for ~$2k (or maybe a bit less) than spend $3k on a brand new IEM (again, unless there is something super innovative with the Odin).
I’m gonna go with 2x W9’s for the sub bass / bass... maybe some sort of new tech or a regular DD for the mids and 4x EST’a for the treble .... corrrr a nice Elysium, Legend, Valk mix

Listening to the Legend atm just makes me even more curious to see where they go with it, a master-class in tech and tuning if you ask me. Exciting times.
