if you’re looking at specifically sticking to EE, why not the phantom?

Mmm, the price point of the Bravado was appealing! Phantom would be a stretch (although I think I’d like them a lot!)

If you’re looking for something to complement the Valkyrie I’d look outside of EE personally, maybe a used U12t from 64? That’s relatively neutral with a bass boost

Man, I’d love the U12t but even used they tend to hold their value which is more than I’m looking to pay. That’s why the Bravado or ESR/EVR were of interest.

Yeah you're right actually, that might be a really good complement to the Valks as well

Funnily enough, I’ve been looking at that and the Drop JVC too

I'm with @mvvRAZ 64a 12t is a good complement, but the price is a bit high.

To me personally the bravado felt like a shell with a subwoofer and nothing else, a sort of extreme L shaped signature

I much preferred the Polaris II or the Acoustune 1650CU if you’re after a bass cannon in that price range

Actually, despite the polarising reviews, I’m quite interested in the Polaris II.

Actually no, I only realised after! In my defence I’m off my rocker on pain meds after I had sinus surgery last week! :)

Ouch! I had sinus surgery about 4 years ago and it was not fun with the long tube of gauze up the nose afterward and then the removal. I thought it was never going to have and end when it was being pulled out.

You have my sympathies! I had a nose surgery (on the NHS, for health reasons, not cosmetic lol) and the pain afterwards was quite something.
Not to mention having a blood-soaked bandage strapped to my nose, which meant all I could smell for days was my own blood
Being off your rocker on pain meds is probably the best place for you right now lol.
At least your ears are still working fine hopefully, so you can enjoy some Valkyrie goodness in the meantime :)

Had both a nose surgery and a hypothalamus tumor removal and while the operations aren’t the hardest, but the recovery is a bloody nightmare... they had placed these things in my nostrils that went so deep I could feel them in my brain... genuinely disgusting stuff
