Wow! Mine was 7/8 when impressions received and 7/25 when shipped.

Got them before a sale weekend, at the cost of a Phantom. No problem waiting a few days for shipping. Think it took 2-3 days.

I bought the Phantoms at a CanJam so I did walk out with those.

Can someone comment on the difference of the Ares II 8wire and Eros II 4wire on the Phantoms.
Just looking for that last bit of clarity. I keep thinking I want the Valkyrie (though I've never heard it) but am still so taken by the natural tone and timbre on the Phantoms.
I just wonder if the Eros II 4 wire would "open them up" just a little.
I had a PW Silver cable and did not like the effect. Broke up the cohesive nature.
The Ares II 8wire sounds excellent but I'm just curious if anyone made the switch and how they would characterize the differences.

I did listen to UIEM Valkyrie/ Eros II 4 wire with my DX220/am1mk2. The combination was amazing.
For Phantom (CIEM)/ the Eros II 8wire was best match for DX229 with clarity in high and mid, punchy bass, big soundstage and instruments separation.
