What hint?

You mean "something entirely different" wasn't secret code for: " @Jack Vang and Dean are about to release an over ear hybrid headphone with electrostatic tweeter and 70mm DD"?* Man, sometimes I get my signals so wrong...

*The above is a purely fictitious guess on what EE have in the works, based on nothing more than too much caffeine. It would be pretty cool though.

I have to force a little to close the case, but it doesn't bother me. it could be what the 'hiccup' is about. You should enjoy the Bravado greatly when they reach you.

Ok, got them on Monday.

Listened to them out of the box and now burning them in. I won't touch them until Friday but, so far, I am very impressed...

Any blues or old prog rock "mainstream" tracks on which we could compare our experiences?

None.
Why would you want that if you could have something entirely different instead?

Agreed, I was just goofing around. :)

Personally I love the Phantom for my music tastes (mostly prog rock, prog metal, metal). Wouldn't want crazy bass impact as it'd probably get a little overwhelming. The Zeus was great on detail, but lacked the bass of the Phantom. I'll have to try the LX at some point.
