Yes, aside from the impact, I prefer the bass on the Phantom to the LX. Just a bigger soundstage and for my taste do something about the veil and Phantom is amazing.

I have to force a little to close the case, but it doesn't bother me. it could be what the 'hiccup' is about. You should enjoy the Bravado greatly when they reach you.

Ok, got them on Monday.

Listened to them out of the box and now burning them in. I won't touch them until Friday but, so far, I am very impressed...

Agreed, I was just goofing around.

Personally I love the Phantom for my music tastes (mostly prog rock, prog metal, metal). Wouldn't want crazy bass impact as it'd probably get a little overwhelming. The Zeus was great on detail, but lacked the bass of the Phantom. I'll have to try the LX at some point.
