I am not so sure about US market, Drew has it.

Sheep skin leather, same to ear puds.

I think the angled drivers may alleviate it but not so completely remove it.

Kinda the price I expected. Now its definetly gonna be a HD800 vs ED8 mayhem, maybe thats why they called it the 8 instead of 10?

Sasaki,

any thoughts on the isolation provided by the Edition 8s?

I currently own the Byerdynamic DT-770s and formerly owned the Denon D5000s but returned the Denons because they didn't isolate well enough for listening at work. Can you compare the isolation of the Edition 8s to either of those headphones?

If the isolation on the 8's is anything like the isolation on the 9's, they would be great for work. I use mine primarily for travel, and never get any complaints on the airplane (with passengers a few inches away), even with the sound cranked.

So, is this ultimately the most expensive portable then?

Thanks, I would greatly appreciate it.

I've been looking for a new pair of phones to replace my DT-770s, and, so far, I haven't found one that sounds better and is as comfortable or isolates as well.

If the Edition 8s feel good, isolate well, and sound awesome, then I'd happily plop down the the $1,500 for them.
