@negerlf, do you use foam with your LX90?

I have a pair of MX90, and I suppose it is similar to LX90 except for design. I prefer my Creative Air to MX90

I tried LX 90, it sounds the same to MX75. Both are customer grade earbuds, no comparison to Yuin.
I did not tried LX 95, but it looks suspiciously the same to LX 90.
I did not tried OMX series.

Yuin does make good buds

The MX90's soundstage is actually quite small, considering it as earbuds. Without foam on, the highs are nice, but lacking some punchy bass for my taste. And MX90 can't handle busier passage of music, all instrument will become congested. Just wonder if my description matches yours

Sorry, I am probably wrong. Google image search was not good.

Does LX90 has a headband / neckband?
If yes, then I confused it with MX90, which does sounds the same to MX75.
Anyway, it is most likely all of them have the same driver and its shell. They were released simultaneously. So I doubt any of them may compete Yuins.

MX980 is likely another story. $200 say a lot.

I use all my earbuds without foams.
Sound is different with and without foams and I prefer sound without foams.
With foams I miss detail compared to without foams.
And with foams it sounds like corded up / laced and not open like without foams. I hope you understand what I mean with that.
Reproduction of human voices also with foams not as natural as without foams.
I don't like the sound with foams.
With foams there is more bass but I think bass without foams is already natural.
Many prefer to have more bass but I think bass is more natural without the foams.

Thanks for this feedback! :)

As you mention in a later post it is likely MX 90 what you mean and not LX 90.
Some people rate MX 90/95 and LX 90 above PK3 and PK2 but of course not as good as PK1.
Do you think it is more bad than each of the Yuins?
Could you give a short impression why you think PK3 or PK2 are better?
I can not judge myself as I not know any Yuin but I am interested in your opinion.

For me it sounds in general congested with the foams but not without foams.
Did you mean it sounds congested with or without foams?
Or both ways?

Yes, LX 90 has a flexible headband.
I think it is quite good design but most people obvious not did like it and so they did not release the LX 95 anymore.
It is probably MX 90 what you tried.

No, unfortunately. It was 3 years ago, when I selected some of the best earbuds for extensive review and comparison. I did not selected MX75/MX90 and can not recall why. Some more info at http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f103/7...in-pk2-243576/. MX75 is mentioned there in a few words.

@kostalex, though nengerlf has answered your question, a picture is better than a thousand words

I think the MX90 and LX90 are the same, the only difference lies in the design.

I have lost all the foams for earbuds...Even without foams, MX90 sounds congested compared to Creative Air, to my ears

Yes I agree that LX 90 and MX 90 are the same with main (or maybe only) difference in design.
Thanks for adding the pictures. I was too lazy ... or maybe even don't know how to put pictures here :)

In this case you should be happy that you have lost all your foams :)
With foams they sound more congested than without the foams.

Thanks for the advice to check the other thread.
Was also interesting to read this thread :)

I am most happy with my new MX 980 but I still like my LX 90 and OMX 95 very much and I consider them beeing above consumer grade.
At least for my ears :)
Too bad that I don't have Yuins to compare to.
