Guys help me please, My dx90 is not appearing on My computers, no sd detected. Right click on safe to remove icon it does detect it as dx90 or when I try batchtool it detects as rockusb but its the sd card that its not appearing, I can no more add songs and up to 2.1.5 L2, I tried upgrading through batch tool but its giving me a message like check chip start, check chip fail

Update** I can upgrade to Ibasso's firmware only with batchtool but cannot upgrade to lurkers firmwares, why is this so, and my dx90 and sd is still not appearing on my My computer, else I could just copy and upgrade internally

Please try another cable if you can.

Can you read your micro SD Card contents on your computer when you insert the card in an SD card adapter/memory card reader?

Yes, standard way of updating music.

you can update your firmware by copying the update.img to the root of a FAT32 formatted sd card (via cardreader). After (re)starting the dx90 in recovery mode [Power On][Vol up], the update will be processed by selecting "update firmware from sd card".

Initial impressions.Very impressed, clarity improved(coming from 2.1.5l2),vocals more forward than the slightly recessed 2.1.8,very good bass quantity and quality, expanded soundstage,i find treble somewhere between the overly sparkly 2.1.5l2 and 2.1.8.Don't know about bugs yet, anyone with ie800 this is the firmware for you!Good job ibasso

Excellent. I haven't checked this thread in months, then when I do, we instantly get a new FW :)

I'm still on 2.1.5 and the fade-out bug has been annoying me. I see that formatting the card will fix the problem, but that's a bit clunky - I'm wondering if this has been fixed in this update now?

Cards seem to work best if formatted to FAT32. I reformat all new cards and have no problems.
