That's true and I still need to burn-in my DX90 to see if there are any changes to the sound. My DX50 will be gone on Tuesday and from what I am hearing now with the DX90, I won't miss my DX50.

I don't know if I share the same feelings about the two players, we all have many players for different reasons however if you feel it does not fill any purposes any longer then that's your choice but don't cry Argentina if you miss it later on.

 Honestly, I do not see the point of keeping both players when I feel one performs better than the other and that's not taking price into consideration. The DX50 does gives you better value for the money, but are the improvements in the DX90 worth twice as much?

Not at this time, I tried it and no love. With iBasso's statement you'd be better off looking somewhere else, say Calyx M for example.

What a bummer. Was hoping to save some $$ as well. Looks like that's not gonna happen..

I am not talking about gap less. My issue is that I am missing sound in the middle of a song for a second or two. It's very erratic. In any case I have formatted a new sd card and have loaded some albums to see if it happens again. Just odd really. I was coming off a 24 hour burn session, so not really sure if that has any impact. Will see.

BTW do you guys realise the DX90 is louder than the DX50? I usually listen around 150 with the DX50, but now I only use around 145 with the DX90.

I also experience this issue.  The sound will randomly fade out for a couple of seconds in the middle of a song, then fade back in.  I am using the SanDisk Ultra 64 GB for my micro SD card.

You can't import a playlist.... They can be created with the dap though.

I've talked to them about an option to add to playlist and then you just select the songs.

At first I thought it was just my hearing, but I found the DX90 to be slightly louder than the DX50 on the same volume.

Given they don't use the same dac or amp section this should not come as a surprise.
