^ yes 0 is the lowest compression. It still wont be the same as wav though.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a difference between the lossless codecs in general... But's that's just my opinion. Anyway my music are all encoded in FLAC Level 8 to save as much space as possible.

Technically and logically lossless should be lossless and therefore produce the same result but there can easily be differences in implementation and how much load each codec put on the hardware so it is quit possible that there could be sound differences

I recently noticed that the brightness of the screen of my DX90 is considerably lower than that of my DX50.
In the picture below the comparison with both screens set at default level (180).
In reality, the difference is even more evident that in the photo. Even setting the maximum level in DX90 you can't match the same default brightness of DX50!
 

 
I do not think it's normal. Is there anyone who has to hand both players and're ready to make a comparison?

My DX50 is brighter than the DX90.  It would appear to be normal.

Yes when I had both the DX50 was brigther at full power but as I run it on 1 there was no difference

FLAC is lossless, so it's a 100% reconstruction of the original .wav. Much like compressing it with .zip or .rar. The compression level only matters regarding the CPU load while decoding or encoding.
