I doubt something X5's size and price can match the DX100. AK120 maybe...

Lol, yeah. But with 128GB micro sd cards, the problem is not as bad and people can have 256GB just on cards with DAPs wit dual SD slots (probably actually like 250GB, but it's still a lot).

Well when you produce a dap to play high res files, 128 gb is very small for the storage of high res files. We are not listening to mp3 or something, so our files takes huge space. It is better to get at least 256 gb min in a dap, the more is always welcome of course.
 
I am fed up changing the albums in my Clip+ every weekend. I want something with min 256 gb so I can find my mood whenever I want.

I dont like micro sd s since usb otg I just plug my hdd to player also ibasso site have domain problems so I dont think its an update

Gee, to think that not so long ago I was swapping 1GB MD's in my Hi-MD MiniDisc Walkmans...

Yeah, around this budget point, that's the only choice probably. I prefer to wait and see what next generation daps will bring. X7 and successor of DX100 probably.

They have not lost their domain registration, they are due by 2018 so plenty of time for them to renew. I would think it's an issue with their service provider.

They have had problems with their service provider in the past. I am imagine, no one is near as frustrated and aggravated as iBasso by this.

I hope the dx90 rocks but didn't find the x5 being ak120 competition so I doubt it's dx100 competition either. Others have liked it a lot so as always, you'll need to try for yourself. I like the dx90 concept very much. Will be interesting to how it and Calyx compare.
