Depends on my mood
 
But with my JH7's around the 170, with my Grado's around 200.
 
Both on low gain.

With EQ off I'm around 180-200. With EQ set to pop I'm around 220.

That very much depends on the level of the recording you're playing, the headphone used and it's impedance, as well as the gain setting.

That's funny.  There have been many times where I've settled on that exact number.  I generally listen with my EQ off, always on low gain, and with either of my IEMs I range from 215-225, depending on whether I'm resting or rocking out.  I tend to sleep with my volume turned down to 210, but 222 is just about right for more energetic use.

Holy Moses, you guys like it loud! I usually listen around one 140 - 170 with IEM.

Remember that it also depends on decibel sensitivity

very briefly earlier today, amazon was selling the dx90 for $380 and the dx90 + 128 gb microsd + dignis leather case bundle for $480. but now the dx90 is up to $420 (used to be hovering around $400) and the bundle is up to $500. guess they were just trying to generate some sales real quick and then pump the price up, haha. shoulda jumped in on it when i had the chance to maybe...

Ermmm.... For iems I don't think you need any amp to push, DX90 is well enough to push. But if you really need one maybe You also can look into Fiio

Why an amp? The internal amp is excellent, IMO.

Ermmm.... For iems I don't think you need any amp to push, DX90 is well enough to push. But if you really need one maybe You also can look into Fiio

I know the internal amp is already very good, I am jsut finding ways to further improve it. Dsnut claims the new cayin c5 priced only around 169$ takes his phones to a whole new level with the dx90.

It is nice to have options. Get back on how the amp works out.
