For DX50 vs Fiio x3, we still need some kind souls to make a comparison, and the 1st batch of DX50 is currently in the 'shipping' state so we still need to wait a few days more before reviews come out. I am also waiting for someone to compare the 2 devices.

AFAIK there is no OTG support.

There is OTG support but only for external storage. USB audio support is not supported. That said, you can play files using an external HD but you cannot use the DX50 with USB DAC/AmP eg D42/Intruder etc.. just correct me if I'm wrong

The renderings of the UI look really good to me - am I crazy or does it remind anybody of Rockbox in terms of aesthetics? I think this thing is going to take quite a bit of wind out the X3's sails...glad I didn't make an impulse buy when the X3 came out.

Thats already been posted somewhere in this thread. Its a non working mockup i believe at a headphone expo in Japan earlier in the year
